What differentiates UKG Pro from other similar products?

UKG is always looking for ways to improve the product and has a venue for customers to make suggestions for upgrades/system changes. The take the feedback and improve the product based on these requests. UKG is creative and forward thinking and is a true HCM system. They use research and studies to determine what features to develop next, like the employee wallet module. Employees do not have to wait until the next pay date to request funds that they have earned. This feature is incredible and satisfies the needs of newer generation employees who do not want to wait for payday..

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Payroll processing is extremely easy and there is a dashboard where you can review how many people were paid, terminated etc. This is a really helpful audit function. You can rollback the payroll as many times as you like until you post it.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes it is difficult to get a clear answer from the support team, but this could be that customers do not know what to ask.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Take the training, this is the key to success and will make sure you get a full ROI on your investment. Make training mandatory throughout the organization, this will help you succeed.

What differentiates UKG Pro from other similar products?

Strenghts : Innovation 💡 User-friendly - A lot of on-line support and help ( they have their own academy like Google and Microsoft) Opportunities: New product in Canada since the fusion between Kronos and ultimate software the 20th Feb 2020. Weakness : French language especially in Québec they have to work on translation asap. Threats : Like any other software system, it can be vulnerable to cyber threats. For example, Kronos (now UKG) was hit with a ransomware attack that may have compromised employee data https://www.zdnet.com/article/hr-platform-kronos-brought-down-by-ransomware-attack-ukg-warns-of-data-breach/

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The Green color 🙂 no seriously the Innovation and continuous improvement (very good on that...)

What do you dislike most about this product?

A little heavy in implementation process comparing by others software in the industry in Canada. The delay to start the project 😒 Some projects take more time than already scheduled at discovery phase. Continously improvement is always a good thing but sometimes if you don't do it at the right moment can be more negative for the company startegie's.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If, this someone is in Canada I highly recommend him to hire a Bilingual Payroll Master.
