What differentiates Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 from other similar products?

When it comes to BaaS vendors, customers rarely have control over the backup scheduling, which prevents organizations from delivering the right level of protection to their different users.

What differentiates Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 from other similar products?

The license form is simple and it is easy to understand the cost. As the user interface is similar to that of an office, it is easy to operate intuitively. You can proceed intuitively to the configuration without looking at the manual. Until now, it was not possible to back up the server and respond to emergencies, but with the introduction of this software, it is possible to go back. The detailed backup configuration is extensive (secondary backup specification, synthetic backup, full backup, etc.) and is very functional and easy to handle. Since it has a worldwide market share, it is reliable, stable, and has excellent support.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We do everything, from installation to operation, in-house. It has great functionality and flexibility not found in conventional backup applications, and I have been using it since my previous job. Once used, you can't go back to other backup applications. It outperforms other backup solutions, such as instant recovery and malware protection. Also, it's amazing that "This high-performance backup solution is free!" is open to the public, like Community Edition.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There are many notations in the manuals that are difficult to understand. Because it is more expensive than software with the same function, reduce the price.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Number 1 is a fast backup to the cloud, so efficiency has been greatly improved. Since the operability of VM guest copy and replication functions is easy to understand and processing is fast, points such as server migration have also been solved. By automated backups, it may be used with a high level of security. It is now possible to easily switch back when a problem occurs thanks to server acquisition and backup generation management. The acquisition time has been shortened and the job is now completed overnight.

It keeps data safe on cloud solutions including SharePoint Online and Exchange Online.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

To address issues on MS365 data to enhance safety, I emphasize implementing Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 and try 30 days for free without obligation to purchase.
