What differentiates Veeam Backup & Replication from other similar products?

Veeam appeared to be the industry standard for our on-site backup solution - It does everything we need it to with a clean desktop application. Keeping it simple and not flooding us with too much information on the main screen is a huge benefit as we can quickly see the information we need

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The customiation controls for what backs up and when and the speeds that it can do so we can actually back things up during a "shift" and nobody notices any performance issues from the server

What do you dislike most about this product?

No web interface

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Follow documentation and recommendations from Veeam as they can be hugely beneficial should you ever need to use this product for recovery.

What differentiates Veeam Backup & Replication from other similar products?

It is user-friendly from the start of the installation procedure through entering the console, setting up, and managing jobs. It's straightforward to learn and understand the material. Veeam is simple to use in a variety of situations. The Veeam Backup & Replication software has shown to be a reliable choice for our on premise backup needs. As a result, we immediately turned to Veeam when we started looking for a backup system.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

A staff informed about the product's development supports it and ensures that it works right out of the box. As new features are implemented, our backup administrators' lives are made more accessible or better. The lighthouse program was another fabulous gift that was bestowed upon us. They produced a PowerShell plugin that I can use to automate the backups rather than the built-in scheduler.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The built-in reporting functionality was insufficient for our needs, so we had to buy a different solution. It does need a considerable amount of CPU power to function correctly. Additionally, you can control smaller deployments by doing only the most fundamental tasks. The principal reporting component did not meet our needs for reporting capabilities.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The object can be quickly restored using the backup and replication software Veeam. With the aid of this excellent solution, we were able to repair numerous servers. Another thing we do is replications. It also aids in protecting our data. Most issues need them to put off getting in touch with you for a few days. The VAC console is the ideal management console for checking.
