What is your favorite aspect of this product?

With Veeam, you can access a user interface that makes finding information straightforward. There are not many changes needed after it is installed and operating. This one is one of the few Microsoft 365 components that can safeguard data. I value excellent Veeam users and quick-to-respond Veeam assistance. Veeam maintains any operating system and virtual servers or desktops, whether they are powered by VMware or HyperV, without a single glitch. This is by far its most significant feature.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes it takes a while for the support staff to respond. We last heard something three days ago, and our tasks are failing, which is a little upsetting. There are excellent choices. The biggest problem with the program is that we cannot update Veeam software to version 10 or higher because we are currently using an outdated version of another program because of virtual machine compatibility concerns.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The best and most popular backup programs, with centralized management for real and virtual servers and a backup of specific programs. Since switching to a central VEEAM system from a distributed backup solution that ran at each site, the backup administrator's workload has decreased. The actual application is reasonably practical and user-friendly. You'll hear back from Sales as soon as they can. Technical assistance might use some improvement.

It is an all-encompassing enterprise backup system that unifies data protection for backups, replicas, storage snapshot, and CDP imitations under a single control panel. Veeam offers backup, restore, and replication services for physical servers, workstations, virtual machines, and cloud-based applications.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Veeam is so simple to operate that even tasks that would seem esoteric or sophisticated can be set up quickly. I have a data backup library set up and use a plugin to connect my Veeam appliances to my actual storage in order to orchestrate backups, site-to-site replication, and other tasks. I completed all of this in a single day, and on the first night, my backups began and operated without a hitch.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The only drawback I can think of is that it lacks a way to reduce the time required for the initial data conversion. It takes a long time if you have a lot of information. The closest I could come was to use a virtual tape collection and unmount the cassettes when finished.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It can do a lot more than merely save data for instance it can build virtual labs where you may conduct research. Every time I needed to restart, it worked flawlessly and did a terrific job. The instant restore option is fantastic.

What differentiates Veeam Backup & Replication from other similar products?

The easiest thing about Veeam to use is how easy it is to set it up and how easy it is to retrieve backups when we've required them in the past. No other company is offering all of these features at these costs. Veeam provides a wide range of solutions to help our business back up real and virtual servers, on-premises and cloud platforms, and other hardware.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It doesn't need many changes once it's set up and operating. It is one of the few items from Microsoft 365 available for data protection. One of the few advantages is that you can gradually back up an entire tenant, several tenants, or a selection of pieces. They made a PowerShell module for me to script the backups rather than using the built-in scheduler.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There is a USB recovery alternative if you need to restore to a different package. If you don't do as told, it's tough to find the place to create the backup USB stick. Version 11 for Backup and Replication made some UI improvements after Version 10's somewhat awkward design.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Veeam Backup & Replication implementation went smoothly; there was only one issue with one of our servers throughout the process, which was dealt with immediately and effectively. Our IT support demonstrated how simple it is to use Veeam to manage backups and replicate data. Workstations and virtual machines with operating systems other than Windows are among the needs and requirements VEEAM can scale to meet.
