When considering Veritas eDiscovery, it's crucial to focus on performance optimization, security, and compliance. Ensure sufficient resources, especially disk space and processing power, and configure security settings to prevent interference with WMI, which is vital for data collection. Additionally, address potential performance bottlenecks by optimizing database setup, managing snapshots, and properly configuring processing nodes.

What differentiates Veritas eDiscovery Platform from other similar products?

eDP is a full-featured EDRM solution, but most eDP purchasers exclusively use it as ECA and do not get their money;'s worth out of it. Most of the industry has consolidated on Relativity for what eDP provides and Arctera seems intent on abandoning eDP in favor of their Alta offering

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It can do just about anything that's needed from an eDiscovery perspective. Archiving integration helps.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Price is far too high, support and development/maintenance for on-prem is stagnant. Parent company is abandoning it for ARR increases.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Look elsewhere, you probably don't need it..
