

What is Vonage Click-to-Dial?
Click-to-Dial is a browser-based plugin that allows users to auto-dial any number with one click. It’s especially helpful to employees who work with web-based business tools (e.g., CRM systems). When you click a phone number on your computer screen, you’ll instantly receive a call on your Vonage phone. The moment you answer, you’ll hear “Please wait” followed by ringing while your party is being dialled using auto-dial.

What differentiates Vonage Click-to-Dial from other similar products?
These dialer solutions can be pretty difficult to manage for the regular layperson. Maybe someone who's had to do it thousands of times on another tool will be able to set it up all on their own, but we had to get the help of our IT guy to set up everything initially. After that though we never needed him to take a look at our dialer ever again. Once it started working, reliability was never an issue. Ports never changed, and settings never need to be tweaked. As long as there's a connection no system outage is going to occur.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It's reliability and robustness. It fits well into any CRM that we were using, at the beginning we went through quite a few and this thing worked like a charm consistently.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I can't think of anything. When looking for a dialer there's not a whole lot one is going to do better than the other. You adopt because of price and drop because of lack of reliability.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
The biggest need you have to take into consideration is volume. How big is your team of callers? Certain tools are perfect for small teams and would be challenged to perform for a large team. Conversely, some would be a waste a money if your team is small and the tool is befitting a large team of callers.
