What differentiates Windward System Five from other similar products?

The entire Windward team are some of best people I have ever worked with in my career. As an architect, I do not accept deception or lack of integrity. Throughout my career, I have sat across the table with McDonalds, Marriott, Wal-Mart and even worked for QuikTrip before I left to come run the family Lumber Business. Economy Lumber is driven to be the best in our industries and Windward matches our business values. Once we got established and worked out the learning curve, we now considered Windward as part of our team. Good company – Good people. The software produces the results, the people make it happen.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

POS sales and purchasing history of all my customers. The simplicity to look up reports with just a few clicks for the detail information on each customer and vendor. Ease of reports for A/R and A/P to run my monthly numbers for the business. Unlimited training and learning video's to support our staff on every product they sell to the end user. Unlimited resources - problems are resolved.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Honestly I have not found anything in the past 4 years that Windward does not have availably to meet my the needs of my business. They offer more services than we use. Their product is a machine and just keeps rolling. I do not have issues.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Make a list of what you want for your company and use that list to compare software. Windward was by far the most comprehensive software for the dollar value. I had a list of 5 items I wanted out of the software and the small versions from the big lumber industries could not meet it. Windward checked of my list of needs for my business. I had a budget to bring in a POS system and Windward come in under the budget. Price and Customer Service.
