What differentiates WordPress.com from other similar products?

WordPress is very intuitive to use, unlike other platforms I've used for websites. Even differences between various stylings and classic editors are easy enough to navigate with very little training needed once you have a basic grasp of the platform.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Incredibly intuitive to figure things out once you have a basic understanding of the platform.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes changes would not save and we'd have to go back and redo pages again.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you're a smaller org, find an agency who will help you implement and get WordPress running so by the time you're involved in content creation and site maintenance, it's all plug and play.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Users on the free plans, in particular, may find the platform restrictive, akin to residing in a leased property with limited scope for customization. The presence of advertisements on free plans can be a notable downside, and having a web address tied to WordPress.com (e.g., yoursite.wordpress.com) until upgrading to a custom domain may be viewed as a constraint.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It's essential to start by defining your website's purpose and goals. Choose a plan that aligns with your needs and budget, and don't hesitate to invest in a custom domain for a more professional image.
