Top-notch content management platform

Likeliness to Recommend

10 /10

What differentiates WordPress.com from other similar products?

WordPress is the leader for a reason: it is easy to use, highly customizable, and easily extendable due to its large library of plugins. We develop custom WordPress sites, as and such try to do as much as possible with code-level solutions, but sometimes we use plugins to not re-invent the wheel. The WP team is on top of the latest security issues, usability concerns, and every other item that a leading content management platform should be to help its client base to create winning websites.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The fact that it is open source. This fosters and allows a community of like-minded people that come together for one goal: to make WordPress the best ecosystem out there. You have the ability to tweak the software you as want/need, and if there is a problem, the community as a whole can take a look at the codebase and try to come up with a solution.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There isn't a lot to dislike about WordPress for us. I guess the fact that it is a target to attackers/hackers, but that comes with the territory. It is such a large portion of the internet and runs so many websites that it is an obvious target.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Take time to learn about the structure of WordPress and how the parts all work together. There are a lot of options out there when it comes to plugins, but try not to be too plugin-happy. The more plugins you add to a site the more resources that you will need to run that site without slowing it down. Take a look a cloud-based hosting instead of cheap shared hosting, which will have more resources available.

Pros

  • Helps Innovate
  • Continually Improving Product
  • Reliable
  • Enables Productivity

Very Easy to Use & Great Collaborative Tool

Likeliness to Recommend

9 /10

What differentiates WordPress.com from other similar products?

Over the years I've used WordPress, but it's one of the technologies I use for self-employment most frequently. WordPress includes a number of integrated tools for rapidly adding links, clearly inserting pictures and formating them, and adding smart tags. The application makes the management and maintenance of the website easier and has helped me a lot. There is no easier alternative to WordPress if you do not fear to Google some code. That all things differentiate Wordpress.com from other similar software or platform.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It's easy to start with WordPress. Many topics and plugins may be developed without programming knowledge on any sort of website. WordPress provides access to several plugins that users may employ to adapt their website to their requirements and objectives. WordPress can be built into many CRM systems, a benefit that is not enough for large businesses merely having a CMS occasionally. Support for diving in and resolving problems is very good and immediately available.

What do you dislike most about this product?

WordPress has an obsolete feeling. It has been a long time to provide a more sophisticated interface, but I don't feel the corporation has accomplished that. The interface is extremely barebones, without a great deal of color, thus navigating this platform is tough. This is one thing I dislike most about WordPress.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If a website is needed for your company and if you don't have a lot of money to invest, you want a good standard website, then use WordPress. WordPress is the finest alternative you have if you require a website, eCommerce, or a blog. WordPress allows you to optimize all your aesthetic look and contents, and it is certainly appealing to your visitors. it is highly intuitive and easy to use, responsive. WordPress is light, installable, developable, and maintainable.
