What differentiates Workato from other similar products?

Ease of use, specifically the ability to set up connectors and move data without any programming or servers.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Web interface and simple triggers and actions. For example, my first project with this product was to query data from Snowflake (data warehouse), convert it to CSV, and send it out to a vendor's SFTP site. I had the integration built and running in under an hour.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Error handling and messages are vague. Training is handled more through running into problems and contacting support, as there is not really any up-front training.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This is an outstanding product and works extremely well. However, despite the marketing for the product it really does require someone with an IT background (programming) to effectively use it. People assembling recipes/integrations don't have to do actual programing, but they need to be comfortable with the concepts of arrays, objects, JSON data, looping, variables and related programming concepts. If you have people with those skills, you absolutely will not be disappointed with Workato as an integration solution that allows you to easily move and transform data between systems, databases and APIs.

What differentiates Workato from other similar products?

Workato is splendid for connecting tons of different software applications and it does it efficiently, if for some reason one isn't supported yet, it still provides the ability to use generic REST to connect to the API and get the job done.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like Workato because you do not have to download locally to use it, it runs completely in the browser, it is also useful to integrate from the data source to other systems, for example, from a CRM in Sharepoint to an operational database in Quick Base, allows better collaboration, data exchange, reports and visibility between different areas of the organization and clients.

What do you dislike most about this product?

With Workato, we do not have awkward situations the system is robust it contains important functions, in case something comes up, the reporting and monitoring side is also effective, with the sending of emails and many log details to analyze any problems that has happened.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I recommend Workato is always in constant improvement, which includes adding connectors, features, updating current connectors to be more powerful, or expanding other tools it offers.
