What differentiates Zerto Platform from other similar products?

Checks just about all the boxes for the compatibility we needed with VMware, Nutanix, and various guest OSes.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Ability to automatically change the network/DNS settings of the VM clients, with separate settings for actual and rehearsal (test) failovers.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It doesn't quite do everything about the VMs 1-to-1. There are features of the virtualization platforms (like shared RDM mappings between multiple VMs) that Zerto doesn't handle properly when replicating to the DR site.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It's generally a good tool, and we chose it over others for a number of reasons including compatibility and cost, but there may be some edge cases where your implementation might run up against its limitations.

Using Zerto Platform is easy and the platform is affordable The software is multipurpose and makes data replication easy

What do you dislike most about this product?

Well, no particular failures that I know of

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I recommend Zerto Platform because it meets needs and is affordable too. It is the best disaster recovery solution I have used in my career.

What differentiates Zerto Platform from other similar products?

Zerto Platform supports fast data recovery from both public and private clouds to achieve constant business continuity.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The AWS VM recovery. The user interface besides being intuitive promotes fast learning and adoption of the software.

What do you dislike most about this product?

With Zerto, moving VMs from protection group to another is quite complex, which should not be the case normally.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend it for backups of both large and small databases as the flexibility is very impressive.
