What differentiates Zoho Books from other similar products?

It has tons of features that are actually working and not fancy things to put on the frontpage to sell a product. It does not care about fancy UI but is truly committed to be a serious Accounting software. Other software such as ZipBooks or QuickBooks are more interested in profit than actual accounting, most of them have complex disposition of bank statements, balance, reporting while Zoho Books tries to be more old-fashioned. While accounting software such as QuickBooks tries to innovate with how the information is presented, Zoho Books use an old approach that works most of the time.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The way the information is presented, the amount of tweaking that can be done to each and every step of the accounting process. You can pretty much create unlimited account to separate your Income and Expenses and also unlimited ways in which you can keep count of your bank statements. You can also customize the way the rules work to detect new transactions and the Invocing system and customization is rarely seen in other software. Zoho Books also has templates everywhere that can be customized to your desires. All in all, the best feat for Zoho Books is the old fashion way of showing things in an orderly fashion with infinite tweaking!

What do you dislike most about this product?

The UI could improve a little but that's about it. Zoho Books already has a much better UI than other competing products that charges you an arm and a leg for it's use.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Definitely give this at least more than 5 hours of your time. At first it may seem complex and with too much options but when you start using it you will start considering ways in which you can tweak the software to fit your needs and this is where Zoho Books really shines. Most accounting software such as QuickBooks or Zipbooks are "nice" on first sight but are incredible restricted in customization while Zoho Books allows you to turn accounting for your company the way you like it. It does take more time to fully understand the system but it's well worth it. Zoho Books is also a little less expensive than the competition.

What differentiates Zoho Books from other similar products?

I have used a few of them and they provide the features but they are not in one place like Zoho has. It gives all the options like sales, invoices, payment information, etc in one place that other products don't.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The way it can be integrated with other payment transfer services like Authorize.net, PayPal, etc. I like the way they give the option to a user and we can do it easily without any hustle.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Because, it got a huge number of options to use in one place, sometimes this becomes confusing for someone like me. The navigation of service pages that I get confused.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

They should work on the navigation and user-friendliness so we get more confidence browsing from one page to another.

What differentiates Zoho Books from other similar products?

Intuitive Banking, this allows us to automatically view our transactions or imported directly from Zoho Books or our bank account.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is faster to make your invoices. Online payments give the benefit of receiving payments faster. It is possible to keep a record of estimates, invoices, credit notes and recurring invoices.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Overall, Zoho Books is a solid platform to work from.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The integration of the Zoho Books app with third-party payment gateways like Stripe, PayPal, PayPal Payflow Pro, Braintree, Authorize.net, and 2Checkout are great and work smoothly.
