What differentiates Appium from other similar products?

Appium is free and open-source. Even "competitors" use Appium in their products (e.g., BrowserStack, SauceLabs, etc). Other tools like Ranorex have their own mobile solutions but require a lot of configuration and setup. Appium does most of the work for you.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Free, open-source, and widely supported!

What do you dislike most about this product?

Creating the Appium bridge on a computer can be intimidating and frustrating at first.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Consider using Appium in the test automation framework because it's free and widely used as the de-facto standard in mobile automation.

What differentiates Appium from other similar products?

The great feature of Appium is that it is a great testing tool for iOS and Android, supports the Selenium webdriver, and it is open source. It is also possible to use multiple languages with it.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

For testing Android and iOS apps, Appium is the only open source tool available. Besides testing TV apps and smart watches, Appium can also be used to test car and smartwatches.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Configuration of Appium can be complicated. Often, you'll need someone to help navigate through the process.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Among the open source mobile app automation solutions, Appium is the most powerful
