What differentiates Appium from other similar products?

Open source testing framework is the biggest advantage. Standard API is used for all platform like iOS and Android. Test engineers have freedom to use the framework of their choice to automate the test cases.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Open source testing platform is the best aspect about this product.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Can't execute Appium inspector on Microsoft windows.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Stability is low, CI Integration is relatively hard. Time taken for the overall setup is high. Features are quite good. Multiple scripting languages can be used. Can we integrated on emulator and real device. Overall, a satisfactory product.

Doesn't require any additional agents in app compatible to make Appium compatible with automation

Open source, its compatible for both IOS and Android. Now with Desktop testing features bundles with it and user friendly platform & ease of integration

What differentiates Appium from other similar products?

Appium is the industry standard for automating the testing of mobile applications. It has integrations into many different frameworks to accomplish this.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ease of setup and integration into Android Studio products - the Appium Inspector make it so easy to identify locator strategies for interacting with apps.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing really

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Look at all of the different frameworks (webdriverIO, UIAutomator2, etc) to ensure you pick the one that works best for your situation. (android/ios/etc)
