You should definitely use confluence. Just like other Atlassian suit products, Confluence is an amazing tool and it increases your team's collaboration and productivity.

What differentiates Confluence from other similar products?

Confluence's strong integration with critical third party apps. really stands it out from the few other similar platforms we've made use of in my department. Integrating Confluence with third party tools contributes to a more streamlined workflow for my team, enhances information visibility and ensures more efficient collaboration. An example of this is the integration between Confluence and Slack , which ensures that everyone in my department gets a notification on Slack, whenever there is an edit or modification to important contents on Confluence.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Confluence is easy to figure out by everyone and we've found this helpful in the context of my department. This is because everyone is able to make use of Confluence, regardless of their technical experience level. Also very important to me personally, is the quality of Confluence's version control feature. This page versioning feature works seamlessly by making it easy to recall and access previous editions of all modified knowledge pages on Confluence.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The search feature on the Confluence platform is ineffective and inconsistent and this has impact on our seamless use of Confluence, as a team. This is the only aspect of Confluence, that I can really complain about so far.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I think Confluence can make critical, day to day operational information for teams , departments and entire organization more accessible , regardless of the physical location of individual employees.
