What differentiates Confluence from other similar products?

Confluence can be integrated with other Atlassian products such as Jira & Bit Bucket meaning it has its own great eco system. Being able to link between related tickets, tasks & documentation gives a well rounded overview of the topic.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The integrations that you can add to your page is great, especially the dynamic ones such as Lucid Charts. When your chart is updated it automatically updates the Confluence page too which is great for centralizing documentation and makes for easy management.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It can be hard to get the page laid out in the correct format. Sometimes it is restrictive to float text/images to the exact location you require.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Confluence is great if you are going to be using other Atlassian products. Tying them all together can give you great flexibility and integration with each other. Check what other integrations are available for other software you use as you might find you can do a lot of collaborating between tools.

What differentiates Confluence from other similar products?

Confluence provides more features and ease of use. It is more secure and reliable.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like the multiple file extension support feature and access controls on doc for privacy.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes the pages take much time to load or account logs out automatically due to cache of browser, but apart from this it is overall great.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Definitely a go to product if you need it to keep track of documents and share them with your peers.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Confluence aids businesses in maintaining order and providing a centralized location where employees may find the information they require. The site acts as a central repository for all relevant materials, thus resolving the issue of scattered storage.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The learning curve for Confluence is a bit steep, and some of the features don't feel as polished as they could be. Once you get the hang of it, the site is quite user-friendly.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

All of our development's designs and testing plans are uploaded to Confluence, and the corresponding Jira task is linked from there. This facilitates a comprehensive review of the project's code history to identify any new contributors.
