What differentiates Confluence from other similar products?

Confluence, as I think, shouldn't be mentioned without its belonging to Atlassian infrastructure, and if only you use Jira, then you definitely need a workspace to create technical task and collect all the artifacts. And Confluence deals with it greatly

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Huge amount of macros that can be integrated with Confluence, from official to custom / open-source. You can transform usual and bleak blank text document into really powerful workspace regarding almost everything: from current task progress to data from many additional sources.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes designing a document (its layout) is not such simple as in basic MS Word / Google Docs

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Should work together with Jira and probably Trello. Atlassian products one by one is not such good as in synergy with others among its brand infrastructure

What differentiates Confluence from other similar products?

Access rights management, security, flexible appearance configuration, document creation convenience and integration with other Atlassian products - these features are what I can name right away.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Permissions management is one of the main features of Confluence. You can customize absolutely everything and for everyone.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I would like more flexible management at the template level and their change for ready-made content.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you use Jira for projects management / product development, then I don’t recommend using something else for documentation, it’s better to take Confluence, everything is already optimized there for linking with Jira.

Confluence is helpful in storing data and for internal employee communications.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ability to create new pages, child pages, folders, links, pictures and hyperlinks etc. is very helpful in managing and presenting data.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There was a slight learning curve and the tool was not as intuitive.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Great product, helps in maintaining training, policies and other information in one place.
