Automate is a product with a very good price and with a centralized management of many interests and great adaptability.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Cost is one of my favorite aspects

What you dislike the most is the tool's malware and ramsonware control

Very well validate the need for remote management and threat containment

Using CW, this is the RMM for you, integrates well

What differentiates ConnectWise Automate from other similar products?

Integrations and market share make this product ahead of a lot of others in the field. There are other features that some RMMs have that Automate doesn't but the opposite is true as well. Tons of customizability, plenty of community help in forums etc.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Patch management, it wasn't bad before, now the new UI makes it even better.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes customization can lead you down long rabbit holes, once you understand it. It is a big learning curve to do customization.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are in the CW universe there really isn't a better option. Plus you get CW Control, which is the best remote control tool out there period.

What differentiates ConnectWise Automate from other similar products?

When I was with the company who used Automate, we switched from Kaseya. The major issue with Kaseya was underdelivering on features they wanted to tout as benefits. Their antivirus integration was by far the most consistent disappoint. We got fed up and went with Automate. We were already using Manage, and had been using it for years back when it was just called ConnectWise. The integration between their own products was great. Automate delivered on so many of their features very well. It was like a breath of fresh air.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The patch management was quite in depth. it took some time to get everything set up, but it was very easy to use and understand. Most importantly, it was reliable and patched when we wanted to and how we wanted to.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes it was more complex to figure out how to accomplish some of the automation tasks. Some modules didn't feel as fleshed out when they were being added new or if they were more recent additions. However, ConnectWise supported their product well and support could always give us answers and would work with us on any questions we had.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would say to most definitely ask for a demo if you're interested. And also keep in mind that it will take work to migrate over any automation from other platforms. At the time, we had to manually set up most of the things we had in Kaseya. However, it was well worth it and we didn't regret moving to Automate for all of our client management.
