What differentiates DocuWare from other similar products?

Over time, its range has broadened and contracted. Its heyday has passed, and now only occasional use remains. Recently, we've been using it to transmit multiple resident paperwork to our third-party property management platform. Internal processes also make advantage of it. In the past, it was used to file paperwork for our residents and duplicates of checks from Accounts Payable.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The current plan is to print one paper each resident per month, for a total of one thousand printed documents per month. DocuWare's ability to read barcodes allows us to send that pdf to the system, where it is automatically filed under each resident's name. Every one of these records is then manually entered into our web-based property management system. This eliminates the need to process documents individually for each citizen.

What do you dislike most about this product?

While generally reliable, OCR isn't perfect and can miss some details in some documents. Slowdowns in the web interface are an occasional problem.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Our accounts payable process for restaurants has been streamlined with DocuWare. Although we now use a more specialized tool for invoice processing, we continue to rely on DocuWare for the identification and storage of documents relevant to cash management.

What differentiates DocuWare from other similar products?

DocuWare is fascinating in the way it manages all documents in an elegant, understandable but sophisticated manner, but it also has a number of other features that set it apart from the contest. For example, it gives us the ability to design our own storage system by giving us full control over how directories are structured.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The Web interface is meticulously planned and was carefully created by only including the major components. Another great option for keeping digital assets completely concealed and safe is the ability to limit user access to specific folders. In addition to this, we have a great rapport with their tech support team, who assist us whenever we need to align the layout with our working environment.

What do you dislike most about this product?

As I already stated, I adore its sophistication. In fact, I adore this sophisticated system, but I believe that my prior experience with similar systems gives me an advantage over newcomers because its sophistication makes it difficult for them to get well beyond the system's learning curve and begin using it right away.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I strongly prefer DocuWare, and I advise anyone looking to cut costs on their physical document management system to do the same. DocuWare aids in decreasing paper record-keeping expenses, the manpower required to handle document storage and access, and boosting compliance. Above all, sharing your digital assets both inside and outside of your company becomes entirely secure with DocuWare.
