Unlike many BI tools, Looker connects directly to modern cloud data warehouses (like BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift) for real-time, live querying rather than relying on data extracts, enabling up-to-date insights.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of Looker is its LookML data modeling layer. It provides a centralized, consistent way to define business metrics and logic, ensuring everyone in the organization is working from the same trusted data. This not only improves accuracy but also scales well as data complexity grows, making analytics more reliable and accessible across teams.

What do you dislike most about this product?
