What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Works not just for Microsoft accounts, but also Google, Facebook, GitHub, and many more, all in one place.

Microsoft Authenticator is one of the best!

Likeliness to Recommend

7 /10

What differentiates Microsoft Authenticator from other similar products?

Microsoft Authenticator has such a great handle on the market that it really stands out as a great option and since most people already have it, it's such an easy service to use (for the most part). The integration with microsoft products is pivotal too.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like that it's a service that I was already using when my company required it, so I can have multiple authentications in one place - kind of like a one stop shop. The feeling of security is great too!

What do you dislike most about this product?

I've had a couple of experiences where my authentications stopped working properly, or I'd get pushes to login and authenticator wouldn't work properly. When these happen it's confusing, and it's very unclear how to reset the authentication with a given website, app, or service. This could use some work.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This product pairs really well with Microsoft products and as far as I can tell provides a ton of security. I strongly recommend.

Pros

  • Security Protects
  • Performance Enhancing
  • Enables Productivity
  • Unique Features

Cons

  • Slower Product Innovation
  • Less Inspiring

Functionality

Likeliness to Recommend

8 /10

What differentiates Microsoft Authenticator from other similar products?

It works well with Microsoft accounts and apps, making sign-ins quick and secure with just. Also, having a centralized device that auntheticates accounts and flags down suspicious sign-ins.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

it is easy to use and cross-functional(it can be used across various devices and platforms)

What do you dislike most about this product?

it doesn't always sync smoothly across devices. If you get a new phone, setting up your accounts all over again can be time consuming and tiring unless you’ve backed them up properly. A more seamless sync feature would make switching devices much easier..

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend that the cloud backup feature is turned on. This will help you save your account password, so if you ever lose or change your phone, you can easily restore everything without starting from scratch.

Pros

  • Reliable
  • Performance Enhancing
  • Enables Productivity
  • Trustworthy
