What differentiates Microsoft Power BI from other similar products?

It's integration with Microsoft 365, strong data modeling, and regular updates makes it different from any other application.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favourite aspect of this product is creating interactive dashboard with real-time data is fast and easy.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The only thing that I dislike is that some of the useful features require premium license, which limits the access.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I'd recommend to plan the data sources and user roles early, it makes the setup much smoother.

What differentiates Microsoft Power BI from other similar products?

- It is a software built by Microsoft so it can be integrated easily with other Microsoft products like Power Points, Excel - Robust visualization tool to aggregate data for meaningful insights - Possibility to write DAXs for more customization

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

- Allows users to clean data that shows and tracks all steps for transparency and history - Enable users to schedule automatic refresh to get live data

What do you dislike most about this product?

- performance degrade with very large datasets or complex data models. Often this leads to slower report loading times and long refresh times. - limited options for higher advances visualizations (require more DAXs and more steps in order to create those higher advanced, customized visuals)

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

- It'd a great visualization tool if data models are not too large or complex. - If the data models are complex or require to build complex visualization, I recommend new users to learn those advanced features (e.g DAX, m query) first.
