it has great features for dashboards and multiple ways to implement on your own developments.

Its performance is too bad. Needs enhancement

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you need a bussiness inteligent tool that can be implemented quickly, power bi is for you. But if you also need great performance you will have to explore other solutions or create your own.
