What differentiates Microsoft Power BI from other similar products?

It offer very good dashboards. The interface is clean and simple that deliver satisfactory and great results. Has ability to consume data from multiple sources.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love the way it offer a wide range of custom visualizations eg charts ,graphs ,map etc. Has a speed of data processing even when one has plenty of data sets. Perfect with other Microsoft apps thus allowing work to flow smoothly. Has a very nice and powerful reporting. Has an ease of creating reports using drag drop feature. The visuals indicators are mostly complete and very intuitive and easy to use.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It made reporting very easy but sometimes formatting of some elements is a bit limited.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Perfect for daily reporting purposes ,am confident recommending to any organization.

What differentiates Microsoft Power BI from other similar products?

If you are a fan of dashboards and have experience meddling with data, and even if you consider yourself the Pivot Table wizard of the company, PBI is a great way to up your game. Now, if you're all about BI and know your ins and outs of data...it is too a great way up your game. The way it handles visualizations and real-time dynamics is fantastic really, and it made my engaging with my stakeholders way easier. Dashboards never looked better honestly.

How easily you can just pull data in and start building dashboards.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There's a lot of education needed if you're coming from 0.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Try it out, and compare based not just on your needs but your users / customers requirements. Do they just want to see data, or would playing with it a bit make more sense for instance?

With its nature oriented to the analysis and interpretation of data, this application focuses its efforts to collaborative and business environments; although it is true that there are many similar tools to perform data analysis with Power Bi you have a deeper vision of the data being studied in order to bring them to a graphical environment visually elegant and easy to understanding for all who access them.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Specifically, we use the tool to monitor the operation's metrics, and when these show changes in their usual behavior, the application will immediately send us a notification to our e-mail account, so that we can take immediately actions to correct them.

What do you dislike most about this product?

When it comes to data processing and complex mathematical operations Power Bi presents unfavorable points, in complex mathematical environments it is better to use more specific applications to perform such analysis.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Undoubtedly the tools are to make use of them and even more so when you have a powerful and reliable application such as Power BI, which provides all the capabilities to perform analysis tasks in a simple, fast and highly effective way. Thanks to its focus on organizational environments, it strongly encourages teamwork and assertive decision making.
