What differentiates Microsoft Viva Engage (Yammer) from other similar products?

Microsoft Yammer is a social network that works in real time better than many other social networks. I consider that it is a platform capable of updating the information shared instantly, this has allowed us, as users, to enjoy an excellent interaction when sharing all kinds of publications or making comments that can give us direct communication with our colleagues from the company. Microsoft Yammer updates all shared data in seconds, which is why it differs from other business social networks.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

One of my favorite aspects in relation to Microsoft Yammer is that this platform has been able to design an App for mobile devices that is extremely perfect and up to date, which has allowed us to keep in touch as a company, has allowed us to view and respond to all kinds of publications without the need for a computer. Microsoft Yammer for mobile phones is an App that is too complete and that has allowed us to have an interaction 24 hours a day.

What do you dislike most about this product?

One of the things I don't like at all about Microsoft Yammer is the "search" system. This platform offers a search bar where any word you type will be found, and it will show results that appear in the social networks of the specific company, however, I don't like it because it does not show all the results, it only shows the results that the platform believes are more salient for the user, omitting results that may be useful to us.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Despite the limited operation that the Microsoft Yammer search bar has, I still consider it an excellent platform to maintain open communication within a company, because it has a very simple operation to create all kinds of publications, add group discussions , create simple selection questionnaires and also allows you to make all kinds of comments to any colleague in the company.

What differentiates Microsoft Viva Engage (Yammer) from other similar products?

It integrates really well with Microsoft Office 365 suite of products and a part of the 365 subscription makes it accessible and useful.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Discussion forums and group communications are really great. It helps organize small events within the enterprise with proper communication.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It needs more advanced features seen in social media networks of today, and also the user interface ( design ) has become stagnant.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Microsoft Yammer is a great option for enterprise social network especially if you are already into the Office 365 ecosystem.

It is an enterprise social network that allows you to create groups and generate communities, share ideas and experiences, publish files and news of interest, gif, photos or videos, as well as react and make comments, forums, etc., Yammer uses columns to organize its different sources, facilitates audience segmentation, all under a secure and reliable structure, Yammer allows each company to adapt its virtual work environment to their own needs.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

- It integrates very well with other Microsoft products. - It is easy to link or upload files in different formats. - Its mobility, accessibility and adaptability. - Encourages collaboration and participation in work teams. - Ease of use.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Searching is not the most pleasant thing to do, since it is not easy to find a particular publication. I also think that the user interface should be improved because it would be great to add a more modern and striking touch without losing the essence.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Microsoft Yammer is ideal to collaborate quickly with different groups of people or work teams, provides an excellent space for communication and open and dynamic participation, where you can share content, make discussions, forums, important news, among others, Yammer allows you to maintain a privileged and secure communication from all levels of a company as long as you have a vision and a clear concept of its use without leaving the business position.
