It takes a bit of a learning curve to unlock its full potential.

If you're considering monday.com, start by clearly identifying your team's workflow needs—this will help you customize the platform effectively from the start. Take advantage of the free trial to explore its features, especially automations and different view options like Kanban, Gantt, or calendar. Start small with one board or project, then scale gradually as your team gets comfortable. Also, invest time in tutorials or onboarding resources—it’s worth it. Finally, choose a pricing tier that matches your feature needs to avoid surprises later.

The attractive UI, automations, dashboarding, and simple intuitiveness of using the platform for new hires. I've never heard anyone prefer to use another product after using monday.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The breadth of features and customizations. Nothing else comes close. We are possibly having to switch to MS Planner or Project, and we're going to lose a lot of functionality.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The cost!! If their enterprise pricing was lower, they could compete with less expensive options like the Microsoft Suite that's gobbling up market share left and right.

You have *got* to show the ROI constantly to the expense hawks who are looking to cut tools. This product is a luxury, but it's one that makes your day to day work life so much better. Be sure to persistently log how much time is being saved thanks to Monday... specifically its automations. You cannot replicate it elsewhere.

Monday has a lot of templates for many different use cases. We saved a ton of time finding a template similar to what we wanted to build out and then customized it to our needs.

I love the Monday templates and automations.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I don't like that you are limited in the number of automation you can run.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Choose a project management framework and then find a prebuilt template based on this framework. This will save you a lot of time implementing this tool.
