What differentiates monday.com from other similar products?

The product is simple to use and you can start using it straight out of the box without intense set up.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Creating projects is easy, creating tasks, and creating to-do lists is also easy and simple; you can get any type of report, whether resource-based or project-based, tools. This includes all. It's a great tool for keeping track of our project management tasks as part of our weekly compilation.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There are many such bugs. The workload view is not loading from the time allocation (which they rolled out forever). Once a project is checked out, previous and completed projects back up the autofill results so it's hard to find what you're trying to find quickly. Lately, tasks look like they have dependencies when they don't.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Absolutely good product.

One of my favorite aspects of Monday.com is its customizable workflows, which allow teams to adapt the platform to meet their unique needs. The visual project boards, Gantt charts, and timelines make it easy to track tasks and monitor progress at a glance. What I also appreciate is the platform’s real-time tracking feature, ensuring everyone stays on the same page. Its user-friendly interface makes onboarding seamless, while its collaboration tools promote efficient teamwork. What do you dislike most about this product?

One thing I don’t like about Monday.com is the cost, especially for smaller teams or businesses, as the premium features are locked behind higher-tier plans. Some of the advanced features can feel overwhelming for beginners, and the limited reporting options in the basic plan make it harder to gain insights. Customizing workflows also comes with a learning curve, which could be a challenge for new users. Additionally, the mobile app could be more refined, and at times, customer support is slow to respond when issues arise

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

For anyone thinking about using Monday.com, it’s awesome for teams needing visual tracking tools and customizable workflows. However, the pricing can be steep once you need more advanced features. I’d recommend starting with the free version to get a feel for it. Be prepared for some setup time though, especially if you're not familiar with project management software.
