It could be powerful, but it’s frustrating to use

What differentiates Salesforce Pardot from other similar products?

It has an outdated UI that often makes it harder to configure automations. It has connections to other salesforce tools, which in theory should make it easier to integrate into a fully functional marketing technology stack. In practice I found that it was still frustrating at times because of a lack of cross-platform integration.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favourite aspect of Pardot is that since most of the work I was doing in the platform was configuring automations, I didn’t have to spend a lot of time in there after they were set up. I would just be going in to update text or images and otherwise didn’t have to continuously manage the configuration.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It is a stereotypical enterprise tool - supposedly easy to use and powerful, but in reality confusing and limited. My experience is based on whatever the version of Pardot was in 2018, so my hope is that it has been overhauled since then.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Take a serious look at HubSpot before pulling the trigger on this tool. Unless your organization is already all-in on salesforce, I can’t recommend using Pardot.

Easy to learn and use. Real-time sync with SFDC. Good support team.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Easy to navigate and lots of product related information is available all over. Campaign management and administration can be better performed using this tool.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Engagement program limitations. Restrictions on number of automation rules that can run at a time.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Awesome product and user-friendly and meets all expectations.

What differentiates Salesforce Pardot from other similar products?

Pardot is the most sought-after marketing tool in our organization. With an easy to use interface, Pardot is much simpler to implement than those existing in the market. It allows us to examine a customer’s journey through every stage of the sales process, so our sales and marketing teams can work together and focus on the most promising leads. The lead management features, CRM integration, email marketing, lead nurturing, lead scoring, and ROI reporting are effective and much better than other software. Pardot's unique functionality to track website readers even before they become registered customers is powerful & not available elsewhere.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Pardot Salesforce has simplified our entire process of marketing at HL Agro. The lead nurturing campaigns are helping us to drive engagement with our current & potential customers. Generating leads & setting up workflows is no more a task now. With Pardot, we are able to acquire meaningful data on the choice & interests of the customers. It offers an in-depth analytics & facilitates our customer mapping process. Pardot's tracking system is superb in assessing the customers journey from visits to individual pages on our website to generate conversions on landing pages. Engagement studio is yet another unique feature of Pardot.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I feel some of the legacy features of Pardot needs modification to ease the B2B marketing process. Also, pricing of the software is yet another downside of the software. The premium pricing plan of Pardot starting at $1250 per month is all the more expensive and unaffordable for small businesses. The email editing features needs modification as it does not allows us to customize due to its protected nature. Though it ensures safety yet it makes editing difficult for us. I shall strongly advise the Pardot development team to improve the page coding and CSS of landing pages which as not as advanced as the rest others.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Pardot is anytime recommended for its powerful email marketing, detailed prospect-tracking and lead nurturing properties. With Salesforce CRM integration, it is the best tool to avail the maximum advantage of marketing automation and analytics. The sales team can seek detailed information on the prospects and leads and evolve their communication channels to increase the chances of closing the sales. It works pretty well for email marketing. For marketing automation, one has be careful though. As most of the advanced features will probably have to be managed by the Salesforce team itself.
