Does what we need - but UX is rough

What differentiates SAP SuccessFactors HCM from other similar products?
They have a lot of features which work well together once you get it configured. Other products had a few pieces of the puzzle whereas SuccessFactors had them all.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The onboarding document management is great. It is very easy to onboard employees in other states once those states are setup.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The user experience is very rough. For example, if I say I have completed and objective, it should automatically change that to 100% done - it should not make me change both. There are scenarios with my staff where they have an object marked as complete that is 50% done. It it little things like that which pop up all over the product. I also don't like that we are not using a US based sever instance.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Be sure to do your homework. The implementation is not intuitive. Once you know how to configure something, it is easy to do - but figuring it out - you need a 3rd party.

What differentiates SAP SuccessFactors HCM from other similar products?
The online application process helps candidates submit a concise and structured application by following a clear course of action. The system allows for speedy vacancy approvals, and jobs can be posted both internally and externally at the touch of a button. Its tracking functionality, flexibility, and ease of use simply add to its effectiveness.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Powerful reporting and analytics tools supports high-calibre hiring and improved workforce acquisition decisions. Automated update notification to candidates and tracking of communications.
What do you dislike most about this product?
A fee times that I have seen when we have a multitude of data configurations, the system can run slow but that doesn't happen often.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Progressive organizations need a solid recruitment program like SAP SuccessFactors that focuses on a company's most valuable asset - it's people.

What differentiates SAP SuccessFactors HCM from other similar products?
Provides employee training materials, handbooks, and more ina variety of languages to making it easy to close the skills gap for employees and their managers. The ability to conduct regular risks assessments that show what would happen if we lost a key employee with crucial skills. It has more than 45 available languages in the system to help find top talent from anywhere in the world.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
SAP SuccessFactors uses Advanced Encryption Standard 256-bit encryption for data at rest so our private data in the system is well protected from hacks and malicious activity.
What do you dislike most about this product?
With more than 2000 talent metrics that we can use to analyze network, SAP SuccessFactors is so robust that it's challenging to navigate.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you're looking for a full suite of HRIS system that focuses heavily on Talent Management and Employee Experience, then SAP SuccessFactors will be a great choice for you and will even work best for companies with complex, global workforce.
