What differentiates Smartsheet from other similar products?

Smartsheet boasts of the most robust automation tools of any software that I have used. This tools comes with an incredible set of connectors , workflows , and integration options. The availability of the aforementioned , coupled with its drag and drop automation builder, makes the process of setting up automations on Smartsheet to be pretty straightforward .

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Smartsheet provides options for us to bring new functionalities into its software environment , through add-ons. We've taken advantage of this to add digital asset management and portfolio management capabilities into Smartsheet. Thereby giving rise to improved time tracking and advanced analytical reporting.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Activity logs on Smartsheet is limited , making it time consuming to track important project activity updates. I should highlight the absence of a kanban board feature too , which is as a result of Smartsheet being completely spreadsheet based.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The best spreadsheet software for managing projects.

What differentiates Smartsheet from other similar products?

Resource management is crucial to a project, and automated updates on job progress. The online community of job aids, training materials, etc., offered by SmartSheet is of high quality and substantial. SmartSheet is much better than desktop-based solutions, and you'll adore using it. My staff and I must be able to collaborate and share spreadsheets.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Additionally, automation tools, such as the capability to alert someone when a row or field changes, are crucial to how we conduct business to ensure that everyone is always in the know. Our company functions well because we can quickly see what others are doing and manage them together. We can also easily set reminders and send update requests. Getting notified of a change to a sheet or learning that something has been assigned to you via the notification system is fantastic.

What do you dislike most about this product?

No possibility of renaming files. Limited functionality of a sheet summary report. Limited batch update tools to correct and align the current project sheet. The absence of permission settings without additional feature packages that have been acquired. When you save a project as "new" or as a template, some features aren't transferred over from sheet to sheet, and changing the alert rules can take some time.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

We can do a lot to integrate diverse divisions and improve productivity throughout the entire company. Each Smartsheet is accessible from any computer by logging onto the website or even through their mobile app, as Smartsheet is a cloud-based application. The reports and widget features make dashboard reporting simpler and more effective.
