What differentiates Smartsheet from other similar products?

It was easy to set up and start with what started as a project management tool. This has encouraged collaboration, provided a single source of truth for multiple procedures, and made robust reporting simple. Smartsheet provides real-time project planning and management flexibility. It offers a wealth of tools for efficient project management.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ability to add dependents, working and non-working days, and duration are appreciated. The start and finish dates then automatically fill in. I enjoy the ability to pin sheets or go to the most recently accessed to find the one I'm searching for easily, and I love that all of the Smartsheets to which I have access may be sorted into folders for simple retrieval. Additionally, they frequently add new features, which is a great thing.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Links between rows and cells are limited. I frequently run into cell link constraints. The difficulty we have so far had in getting our organization to grow its use is the problem. The software cannot be used without an internet connection. This is a drawback because you won't be able to access your info if your internet connection is lost.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

My favorite Smartsheet feature has to be the ability to use a combination of late milestone reports, task assignments, and thorough reporting to monitor my team's progress. Combining cross-sheet cell linking, index/matching when necessary, and conditional formatting when necessary is a stroke of genius for reporting. Simply the best equipment for the job. I adore how easily obtainable and adaptable the stuff is.

What differentiates Smartsheet from other similar products?

Our consulting company uses Smartsheet for continuous monitoring of the projects we work on, through this our employees manage all the information and ideas of the projects, creating work tables remotely and making the most of all the options that the platform allows. Its spreadsheet interface greatly facilitates the work in the company and allows to manage data in an orderly manner.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The Gantt chart view greatly facilitates the way we manage projects and shape our ideas so that we can meet the needs of our customers in the agreed time frame. Team collaboration tools are designated under permissions so that not everyone can see the progress and only authorized people can see it. Data security is perfectly safeguarded in Smartsheet.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Customer support leaves much to be desired, very late response times and minimal efficiency in resolving problems, even simple ones. Visibility and user experience can be affected by different factors in the overall usability. It could have folders of attached files and not long lists that a priori can make us lose a lot of time when looking for anything we need instantly in them.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is recommended to use Smartsheet in its paid version as it works much better with much more advanced tools to carry out the projects in question. The cost is perhaps a bit high, but it depends on each organization and the use they will give to the tool. Customer service has a lot of room for improvement in both usage options. If your team is familiar with the Excel format, this can be an excellent option.

What differentiates Smartsheet from other similar products?

When I only have a few pieces of information to juggle, I turn to Smartsheet. General use in recording information about projects or keeping tabs on ongoing processes. If you need to prompt other teams to provide data on a monthly, weekly, or fortnightly basis, this tool is invaluable.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Smartsheet has allowed us to unify and standardize our approach to project management. In the past, projects were more compartmentalized, and reporting on the various Excel logs was a tedious process. We've seen productivity gains as a result of automating some of our previously manual reporting in Smartsheet.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Dashboard graphs are limited in their customization options, therefore users must often improvise in order to achieve their goals. I think it would be great if there was a more flexible selection of charts and graphs to choose from. In particular, it would be helpful to restrict the axis's maximum value to 100% if the chart is a percentage.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Currently, we're updating a small dataset on a regular basis using it. Automatic approval of submissions and reminders to review and maybe revise content at predetermined intervals are both aided by the form tool.
