What differentiates TeamViewer from other similar products?

It is very easy to navigate and set up individually with users who are managed or unmanaged.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ability to remote to computers from a mobile device on the go

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes the services to keep the remote control connection alive randomly turns off. I've had a lot of support calls with the vendor and they usually point the finger my way but it seems to be a software error on their end

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

TeamViewer is a great product and has a lot of tools at your disposal. I think you'll find it works for a majority of scenarios.

What differentiates TeamViewer from other similar products?

TeamViewer has become one of our go-to tools for providing efficient and secure remote support. In healthcare, where downtime can directly affect patient care, having the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues without physically being on-site is a game-changer. TeamViewer allows us to quickly address technical problems across different departments, whether it’s assisting with network issues, supporting the installation of new software, or ensuring that medical devices are properly connected to our network.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

One feature that stands out for me is TeamViewer’s multi-platform support. It’s not limited to just desktop systems. We’ve used it to remotely manage mobile devices and even some medical equipment that runs on specialized software. This flexibility has made it easier for our IT team to stay on top of all devices, regardless of the platform they’re using. Plus, TeamViewer’s file transfer feature lets us easily send updates or configuration files, which speeds up our support processes and ensures that everything is properly synchronized.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The software could improve its user interface a little; some of the more advanced options for remote sessions can be a bit clunky to navigate.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Since we started using TeamViewer, it has drastically improved the efficiency of our IT operations. We’ve significantly reduced the need for on-site visits, saving time and resources. Plus, it has allowed us to provide faster support for staff, ensuring that any issues related to medical devices, patient records, or other essential systems are resolved promptly, minimizing disruptions to patient care.

Rich remote viewing and controlling ability to support multiple monitors.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The interface for initiating a remote session directly supports transferring files between the local and remote hosts.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes it's difficult to customize meeting room layouts.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Easy and reliable virtual meeting platform though it may not be as good for more extensive-scale presentations to outsiders, in which more advanced and sleek video conferencing platform alternatives could be desired.
