What differentiates Workday Human Capital Management from other similar products?

Every day, I utilize Workday to fill my work hours, apply for leaves, and make additional requests. The procedure is straightforward and saves a significant amount of time. It's also where I apply for internal employment openings.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Many firms struggle with adaptation, and Workday distinguishes out as a user-friendly gateway in this regard. I found it more engaging than MIS, which my organization previously utilized. At the same time, I believe Workday can be integrated with a wide range of third-party applications. It also makes internal recruitment easier.

What do you dislike most about this product?

For some reason, my app will not remember my passwords. Every time, I have to log in and authenticate. I wish it would remember my device to make logging in easier.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I enjoy being self-sufficient, and Workday allows me to avoid having to rely on others to find what I need. I appreciate being able to view my tax information and previous pay stubs.

The UI is very different from the other tools

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The timesheet management feature was really good

Some of the tasks keep showing in to-do lists even though you submit them

What differentiates Workday Human Capital Management from other similar products?

We have over 80,000 employees in 63 countries, so the breadth of features available in Workday makes it a powerful tool. From an employee just starting their career to someone on the executive track, we're able to embed succession planning and have a nice aperture of what that path looks like. It's a product that you would benefit from a 3rd party who can ask those insightful questions so that when you implement, you've thought about every possible use case and what you're solving for is top of mind.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The dashboard as employee and also as a leader to see my team.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Takes quite a while before any new features are rolled out and that roadmap could be pretty long.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Think about what you're trying to solve for and really kick the tires to see if this is the right product for your growing organization. Think about all the other systems now and in the future that you'd like integrated with Workday. This could cause issues down the road. That said, Workday is a very known brand, and lots of software providers are creating or have already created API's to give a seamless integration.
