What differentiates Workday Human Capital Management from other similar products?

Workday helped us with a global onboarding seamless experience which is a very attractive feature as HCM. Workday HCM gives HR the capability to do visual and graphical analysis across time with the ability to slice and dice information easily. It helps in learning by using inbuilt integration with the "Percipio University" and is also useful to set goals. All openings from the HR team are also available through Workday. Customisation of this tool plays a vital role, we recently updated our covid vaccination status through Workday only. You can easily find out the complete organisational hierarchy through the workday in a graphical manner.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

There is a lot of favourite aspect of this product for me. But the security and user-friendliness of this tool irrespective of platform won my heart as a favourite aspect. Workday's Reporting functionalities are so sophisticated and it would be nice to have a click-drag-and-drop approach to building a custom report oneself. Login is possible only through multi-factor authentication and also integrated with the "Authenticate app". Mobile applications have also a face/touch-ID feature to provide additional security for access. This platform has the agility and power of data analytics to uncover the stories and opportunities for improvement.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Since this platform is a global HCM platform that is why this platform is a little expensive. Sometimes I feel there are delays in compensation updating when we get hikes under the payroll section. There have been times when I and my colleague were trying to find information and even the search feature wasn't pulling anything up. But the above-mentioned issues I faced once in blue moon so please don't consider as dislike. Rather than dislike consider it as likelihood feedback which I wish will be solved in an upcoming release.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

As for recommendations, I would say Workday HCM is a platform that is widely used across the world in all industries. So while pre-joining as well this platform is not new for employees to provide/upload joining related formalities. This platform is flexible and likes learning and growing in their knowledge. WorkDay was able to more quickly synchronise any changes in employee data to other ecosystems like O365. If you have a larger workforce, in class and simplify talent management processes then blindly choose Workday as a Human capital Management platform.

Workday best employee profile management platform.

What differentiates Workday Human Capital Management from other similar products?

Workday Human Capital Management is the best secure platform to manage employee profiles. Why secure, because this platform support multi-factor authentication to log in, even the web version of Workday HCM generates a secure QR-Code to log in through mobile application. Face Id and PIN to login into mobile application add more security which can be easily enabled through the "My Account" section. The best part is of this platform is multi-language support and also multi-platform support. This platform is available in more than 30 languages which are really good to remove the geographical constraint, the mobile application is also very cool.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Simplicity is one of my favourite aspects for me because irrespective of the deployed platform this application works very well. This platform is very helpful for a larger organisation with a solidified process in place. This platform has a lot of features which is really helpful. You can set goals and personal development goals can be created easily with guided mode by ourselves. Integration and customisation is playing a vital role here. It integrates well with Greenhouse, our ATS system. Recently I have uploaded my Covid-19 vaccination status on a workday that is a good example of customisation, this platform can be customise based on need

What do you dislike most about this product?

Workday Human Capital Management is very straightforward for me in order to complete any work without any hiccup. But a few things can be still improved which is applicable for all the software in this world. Recently I got a hike but Workday is still showing my old salary, not sure they update payroll section data every month or every appraisal cycle because my appraisal was adhoc based on my performance. When I go to check the Time Off remaining, I don't have control to go back to the Time Off Home page. The mobile application works perfectly fine for me but still, they can add the same set of features as compared to web-version.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If any organisation is looking for a robust platform for employee profile management then please go work Workday Human Capital Management. My organisation is very big and it handles all employee profiles very well. Irrespective of the platform, this application gives high performance.
