What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?

It’s become a central hub that keeps our projects on track. What differentiates it from other platforms is how deeply it integrates with the rest of the Microsoft ecosystem. Since we already rely heavily on tools like Excel, SharePoint, and OneDrive for project tracking and document management, Teams naturally pulls everything together into one cohesive place.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

What really stands out for me is the integration of Teams with Planner. We create channels for every project, and with Planner embedded, we can assign tasks, monitor deadlines, and keep tabs on progress, all within the same window. Need to ping someone about their progress? Just drop a message or start a call—no need to switch apps.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I do not dislike anything.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you’re in construction and juggling multiple teams, locations, and timelines, this tool will save you countless hours of chasing people and files. It’s brought a level of coordination to Mbuilds that I didn’t think was possible without adding complexity.
