A Staple for Virtual Collaboration and Meetings !
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?
As a fully remote employee who works for an agency with a distributed workforce and who has clients that have hybrid work arrangements, basically every meeting I have needs to accommodate attendees in multiple locations. Microsoft Teams is by far the most stable, dependable, flexible meeting platform that I personally have used and this is why it is what our agency uses for all of our client meetings and the vast majority of our internal meetings.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The stability of audio and video is fantastic. Other virtual meeting platforms that I've used suffer lag if someone is trying to use Bluetooth audio and have their camera on, which is simply unacceptable. In my experience with Teams, it always recognizes everyone's chosen audio and on occasions where somebody uses their phone for audio but has their computer camera on, audio and video sync perfectly. I also really like Microsoft Teams' integration with other non-Microsoft calendar providers. Our agency uses a different provider for email and calendaring and Teams has a really nice add-on that makes it easy for me to add a Teams link to any me
What do you dislike most about this product?
I would like to see additional options for speaker screen layouts, especially when presenting/sharing my screen. For example, since I have a single-monitor setup at my desk if somebody raises their hand or puts something in the chat during a meeting I do not see notifications for that because all I see is the window I'm presenting.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
There is something that I must suggest about them: they are safe and secure as well as backed by Microsoft's guarantee.

- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable

Great all-in-one tool that keeps my team connected
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?
Teams really shines because it pulls everything your need into one place. You can chat, jump into meetings, share files, and even collaborate on documents without leaving the app. If you're already using Outlook, Word, or Excel, it just fits — no need to juggle different tools. What I like most is how it feels like a real workspace. You can have quick conversation, plan projects, and run meetings all in the same app. It’s super helpful for keeping everyone on the same page, especially if your team’s remote or spread out. Plus, it’s built with security in mind, so IT teams usually feel good about rolling it out across the company.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite thing about Microsoft Teams is how easy it makes staying connected with my team. Whether it’s a quick chat, a meeting, or sharing files, everything happens in one place. I don’t have to switch between five different apps to get my work done — it’s all just there. It’s especially great during busy days when jumping between tasks, because it keeps everything organized and flowing smoothly.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Its hard not to like something about Microsoft Teams. Still as the query is to mention one: The thing I like least about Teams is that sometimes it can feel a bit overwhelming or clunky. There are so many features packed in, and occasionally it takes a while to find what you’re looking for.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you’re thinking about using Microsoft Teams, I’d say it’s a solid choice—especially if your team already uses Microsoft 365. It really helps keep everything organised in one spot, from chats to meetings to file sharing. My advice would be to spend some time learning the features and setting up notifications so you don’t get overwhelmed. Also, be patient at first—it can take a little while to get used to how everything works, but once you do, it’s a real productivity booster.
