Its integration with all the Atlassian ecosystem

some features come from plugins and other atlassian tools, therefore has a high vendor locking

Get aware of the multiple options and features available early and plan and configure accordingly. Get your team professionally trained.

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

It has a more organized and visual interface. It also allows for more collaborative work between programmers and leadership during meetings. I have worked at multiple places where we had Jira up as we prioritized Fixes for Release.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Collaboration and prioritization

What do you dislike most about this product?

I don't dislike anything about it. A new user especially someone out of school should go through a training class. If they know about the Software Development Lifecycle, JIRA will make sense.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Spent time training new users. Show them how your organization uses the platform.

Integration with GitLab and Mattermost which enhances the developer productivity in building a project and integration of new features for the client.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Jira provides Many tools for integration ranging from version control to project management covers every aspect of agile project management is the big factor in a IT company.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Cost is very high for jira compared to other compitators such as trello.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Even the cost is on the higher side, but tools integration is very important. Best suited for all in one integration for a agile project management tool.
