What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

Jira is extremely easy-to-use and offers a plethora of customization options so it can be utilized by any team from any business/agency, including: Project Management, HR, Software Development, Quality Assurance, Business Analysts, Product Owners, etc. Very low price, with a huge online community that offers endless tips and training for free, so that you can never really feel lost when using the tool.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love writing tickets, prioritizing tickets, sprint planning, adding story points, and much much more. This tool makes project management a breeze. When my team interacts properly with the tool it all comes together beautifully. Jira has had a positive impact on our software devilries and quality.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The product has grown so large in scope and it feels like each component was created by separate teams in a vacuum. Sometimes different pieces of the Atlassian product suite don't play nicely together. Bugs aren't always fixed in a timely manner.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Set clear expectations with your team of how to use the tool and how you expect them to interact with it. Create processes around Jira and have your team stick to them religiously.
